Nuevo disco de Bruce Springsteen que actuará en noviembre en Madrid y Barakaldo en la gira ‘Magic’

Bruce SpringsteenBruce Springsteen iniciará el 25 de noviembre en Madrid su gira europea de presentación de su próximo disco, “Magic”, que se publicará el próximo 2 de octubre, editado por el sello Columbia Records e incluirá también un concierto en Barakaldo (Vizcaya), informa el propio Springsteen en su página web.

“Magic”, el nuevo disco de estudio de Springsteen y el primero con la E Street Band de los últimos cinco años, lo ha producido y mezclado Brendan O’Brien -responsable también del anterior con este grupo, “The Rising”- e incluirá once nuevas piezas grabadas en el estudio Southern Tracks Recording de Atlanta (EUA).

En concreto, “Magic” incluirá las canciones “Radio Nowhere”, “You’ll Be Comin’ Down”, “Livin’ in the Future”, “Your Own Worst Enemy”, “Gypsy Biker”, “Girls in Their Summer Clothes”, “I’ll Work for Your Love”, “Magic”, “Last to Die”, “Long Walk Home” y “Devil’s Arcade”.

El nuevo single, “Radio Nowhere”, puede escucharse ya en Internet como anticipo de “Magic”, en páginas como la de la web musical “The Hype Machine” (http://hypem.com). Este single recupera el sonido más rockero y ha sido definida por la crítica internacional como la canción más directa que Springsteen ha escrito en los últimos años.

“Esta es la radio de ninguna parte. ¿Hay alguien vivo ahí fuera?”, canta Springsteen -que el próximo 23 de septiembre cumplirá 58 años- en su nuevo single, que será el primero de los once cortes que incluirá el nuevo álbum.

Springsteen iniciará el mismo 2 de octubre en Hartford su gira por Estados Unidos y Canadá, donde ofrecerá 18 conciertos, para finalizar el 18 de noviembre en Boston.

El 25 de noviembre, en el Palacio de los Deportes de Madrid, Springsteen iniciará su periplo europeo, que proseguirá por el BEC de Barakaldo el 26 de noviembre, y que finalizará el 19 de diciembre en Londres tras 13 conciertos en Italia, Holanda, Alemania, Noruega, Dinamarca, Suecia, Bélgica, Irlanda, Francia y Gran Bretaña.

En la gira, Springsteen estará acompañado, como hemos dicho antes por The E Street Band, integrada por Roy Bittan, piano y teclados; Clarence Clemons, saxo y percusión; Danny Federici, teclados; Nils Lofgren y Steven Van Zandt, guitarras; Patti Scialfa, coros y guitarra; Garry Tallent, bajo; y Max Weinberg, batería.
