El Rincón del Rock

El pasado domingo día 10 de febrero se celebró en Los Angeles la 50 edición de la entrega de premios Grammys 2008.

En los quenos concierne respecto a las categorías de Blues, Rock y Metal podemos destacar los 3 Grammys entregados a Bruce Springsteen con su disco “Magic”, compitiendo con artistas de la talla de Paul McCartney en la categoría de mejor vocalista de rock, de Metallica, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani o Rush en la de mejor Banda de Rock Instrumental con el tema “Once Upon A Time In The West” y la de mejor canción Rock con “Radio Nowhere”.

Otros de los grandes triunfadores de la noche fueron The White Stripes y Foo Fighters con 2 estatuillas cada uno.

Por supuesto no nos olvidamos y nos alegramos de Slayer consiguiendo un Grammy como mejor banda de Metal.

En la categoría de Blues cabe destacar el Grammy conseguido por JJ Cale & Eric Clapton.
