Pink Floyd subastan una Fender Stratocaster con fines benéficos.
Con el fin de recaudar fondos para la organización Británica “Crisis”, Pink Floyd subasta una Fender Stratocaster, decorada por Gerald Scarfe, famoso por el diseño de las tapas del disco “The Wall” y firmada por los miembros de la banda, incluido David Gilmour.
Es inevitable, al nombrar a Gilmour, pensar en el sonido que arracaba de la Stratocaster y vincularlo a la marca Fender. Incluso se ha comentado que el músico ingles posee una Fender Stratocaster con el número de serie #0001, (aunque no fue ésta la primera Stratocaster fabricada).
Objeto de deseo para adinerados coleccionistas y para los fans (con pasta, claro) de la banda, de esos que esperan como agua de mayo el prometido “Concierto de reunión”, esta gran guitarra, lucirá un diseño impresionante y las firmas de Pink Floyd, pero lo más importante es que se vende con un objetivo aún más grande: Ayudar a la gente sin hogar.
